What a Business Process is NOT

Since the industrial age, companies have been organized according to what is now considered to be the traditional way. The very education we receive, the job descriptions on our business cards, the career paths we choose are essentially all task-based. Therefore, the tasks we have accomplished doing our jobs gained importance, and we have come to perceive our tasks as business processes.
